The corn snake eggs started hatching night before last. Yesterday much of the day was spent checking on them so they could be removed from the incubator and placed into their bins on the snake rack. The girls were lucky enough to watch one come out of the egg yesterday. Both were very gentle and we allowed to touch the newborn snake.
Lily helped make dinner yesterday, chopping the broccoli for our mac and cheese. I made a chocolate cake for dessert/daddy lunch and Serenity tried to convince me it would make a great addition to her strawberry banana oatmeal she requested for this mornings breakfast.
