This is a photo of a cloth grocery bag. It had meat in it, separated from the other food specifically for this reason.
I hope this post is made without need but PLEASE when you’re making choices to help the environment don’t forget common sense. Many people take the items out of their bags and toss the bags to the side without a second thought. I have always washed my bags every few trips (this bag obviously is in the wash now) but I was quite shocked that there needed to be a news segment on it awhile ago. This image reminded me some people may forget to do this type of maintenance. Here is your reminder!!!
